Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026
This parent portal is operated by Titus Digital Services (“Tutoring from TDS”, “we”). By registering for or using the portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the portal.
The service
The portal lets enrolled families review upcoming and past tutoring sessions, read session notes, view invoices, manage schedule-change requests, and keep a payment method on file with Stripe, our payment processor. It is a companion to in-person tutoring services, not a standalone product.
Accounts
Access is by invitation only. When your application is accepted, you receive a personal registration link; the Google or Apple account you connect through it becomes your sign-in for the portal, and you may also request a one-time sign-in link by email. We never store passwords. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact brad@titusdigital.net immediately.
Billing
Tutoring is billed in arrears — after sessions are held — at the current per-session rate. When you set up billing in the portal, you choose one of two billing cadences for each student, and you can change it later in the portal:
Monthly on the 1st. Sessions held during a month are grouped into one invoice issued on the 1st of the following month and charged automatically to the card on file with Stripe.
After each session. Each session is invoiced and charged to the card on file with Stripe when it happens. Late-cancellation and no-show fees (below) are invoiced and charged the same way.
If you switch from monthly to after-each-session billing, any sessions that have already happened but have not yet been invoiced are billed immediately as a single catch-up invoice. The portal shows you the exact number of sessions and the total before you switch, and the switch happens only when you check the acknowledgement for that charge. Switching the other direction simply moves not-yet-invoiced sessions onto the monthly invoice for their month. A change never alters an invoice that has already been issued.
Your card is entered on Stripe’s secure hosted page and stored by Stripe — it is not stored in this portal, and we never see your full card number. By saving a card with Stripe and completing billing setup, you authorize Titus Digital Services to charge that card automatically for tutoring sessions and applicable fees under your selected cadence. You can update or remove the card at any time through the portal’s Stripe page; removing the card pauses automatic billing, and amounts already owed remain payable.
Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice are not charged and may be rescheduled; cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows are charged in full as a fee. Sessions cancelled by the tutor, library closures, and school-weather cancellations are never charged and may be made up. Accounts more than seven days past due may have their standing slot released. Full policies are in the family agreement you sign at enrollment.
Acceptable use
Use the portal only for managing your family’s tutoring. Do not attempt to access other families’ information, interfere with the portal’s operation, or misrepresent your identity.
Termination
Either party may end the tutoring relationship with written notice, as described in the family agreement. We may suspend or terminate portal access for violation of these terms or for accounts past due as described above. Amounts owed for sessions already held remain payable on termination.
Limitation of liability
The portal is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Titus Digital Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the portal. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for tutoring in the three months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to enrolled families by email at least 30 days before they take effect, consistent with the family agreement. Continued use of the portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
